It was bear time at the library. I’m glad I was able to go.

It was bear time at the library. I’m glad I was able to go.

So today my friend Keith came over to play. Two boys and moving objects equal my first real injury. It was a head wound and boy did it bleed! I think I scared mom and dad though. Check out the photo for a sneak peak!
I’m not sure where to begin, as the last few weeks have been a blur of visiting family, receiving a lot of amazing gifts, and dealing with a lot of snow. We received over 2 feet of snow in December, and it looks like we might receive another 2 feet during January! That’s ok though, I don’t really mind. I have enough new toys to keep me occupied.
For Christams, we braved the weather and went to stay with Grandma for a few days. I was able to see my Dad’s family on Christmas morning, which was a lot of fun, as I only get to see them a few times a year. What made it a lot of fun was that Dad got the car stuck on the way. He learned that little cars can’t make it through big piles of snow. I could have told him this, but mom said they could make it. In the end, mom and I got taken to my Aunt’s house in a police car, and Dad got to dig himself out. Along with Dad’s family, I spent time visiting Mom’s family. Nothing exciting happened on the way there, which is probably a good thing!
For New Years, Mom and Dad held their annual party. It was fun. One family that showed up had an adorable 7 year old girl and twin 2 year old boys. Suffice to say, I had a lot of fun playing all sorts of games, and made some good friends. I was not able to stay awake until midnight this year, but I’m hoping I’ll be able to next year!
Did you make any resolutions for the new year?
I have finally had time to sit back, relax, and get ready to tell you all about my exciting trip to the wonderful world of Disney!
On Sunday morning of last week, mom and dad woke me up very early. I knew something was going on, as all day Saturday, they were running around putting clothes in suitcases and talking to each other about my birthday. I knew something was going to happen, but I had no clue as to what. So, like I said, they woke me up very early, it was around 3:30 am, and put me in the car. The next thing I know, were parking the car and getting into a bus. I still have no idea what is going on, but I knew something big was going to happen!
Something big indeed! Sunday morning, I took my first ever plane trip. I got to sit by the window and it was so exciting to watch everything get smaller as we went up to touch the clouds. I wanted to grab one, but I could not figure out how to open up the window. Just when I was getting sad about not getting to take a cloud, a nice lady came by an gave me apple juice and cookies. I was not sure how the day could get any better.
It did get better though, as after a short time, we landed and got on a bus. On the bus ride, we watched a video all about Disney. I thought it was neat, but strange; until the bus arrived at our destination. I WAS AT DISNEY WORLD!!!
That’s right! Mom and dad took me to Disney, and Grandma came too. It was very exciting. I got to meet my cousin Kathy, and I had so much fun.
The cake you see in the picture, that was from my dinner at Chef Mickey’s. That’s right, I got to eat at Mickey’s restaurant! I’m not sure if he does all the cooking or not, but it was all very good. I got to meet Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Minnie at the restaurant. I also took a tour down Downtown Disney and did some shopping, and took a hot air baloon ride, which was very fun. I could barely see over the safety rail, but I did not mind, as I was very close to touching the stars!
On Monday, we went to Magic Kingdom. I saw Pinnochio, went on a lot of rides, and saw a very neat parade. I was even able to see Tinkerbell fly out of the castle over the crowd before the light show! On Tuesday, we went to Epcot, where I went on some boat rides, took a trip on Soarin, met a few more Disney characters, and saw Figment! If you don’t know Figment, you should, he’s really cool. I also got to meet Snow White. She looked just like she does on the movie, and sounded the same too. I have no idea how they make her so small when I watch her at home, but she was taller then me in person.
On Wednesday, off we went to Animal Kingdom. This park was really amazing. We went to a Lion King show, took some water raft rides, did a roller coaster, met Jimminy Cricket and Pocahontas, as well as Flick, Tigger, Pooh, and several others! We also got to take a really amazing jeep ride and saw all sorts of amazing animals, like Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, and more! I also took in a show about birds and watched mom go on the really fun looking roller coaster. I was not tall enough to go it though.
Thursday is what I call “dad’s day”. We went to Hollywood Studios. He was more excited than I was! We went to the Star Wars ride, saw the Muppets in 3D, watched a stunt car show, saw Beauty and the Beast, and even got to see an Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. Dad get not to see that though, as he was up on stage as an extra and got to meet the cast and crew. He was very excited about it.
There is so much more that happened, and I’m still trying to get all my thouhghts in order, but for now, enjoy the slide show I have included of just some of the 400 photos mom and dad took.
I really don’t know where begin! I took an a plane ride, which was amazing, and ended the night with dinner with chef Mickey. I can’t tell you how great it all was! I will update with a lot more photos when we get home, but I hope to post a picture or two to here as I can.
