So this evening, just a few minutes ago, I was sitting on the couch with mom. Ginger came up and decided that she wanted to be played with. Mom looked over at me and said, “Come pet your puppy”. As I reached for Ginger, I said puppy. When I saw the excited look on mom’s face, I said puppy again. I even said it a third time after I pulled her fluffy little poodle ears.
Adding the word puppy to my list is slowly bringing up my vocabularly. I’m probably at about 10 words total that I either speak or sign. I guess I’m just not that big of a talker. I’m sure I’ll learn how to speak more in the future, but for now, no reason to rush things.
