Just a quick update, as I realize it has been awhile since I have posted anything. I do apologize for the delay, but to be honest, not much has happened since my cousin came to visit last week. Dad was pretty sick on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. He’s doing a lot better now, which is good, because today, for the first time, I heard something that brings great joy to my little heart. The bells of the Ice Cream Man’s Truck!
Yep, this evening, shortly after 6:00, the magical ringing slowly went by our house. Dad went outside and when he returned, he had ice cream. I was not sure what was going on until mom said that Dad caught the Ice Cream Man.
Now, I really like ice cream, but I don’t get much to myself. I had to share, but that’s ok. It was in a waffle cone and it was really good. I guess this guy goes by every day or two, so I’m really hoping I can catch him again. Next time though, I don’t want to share!
