Well, I finally did it. I started signing “mom”. Mom has been working with me on that sign for a long time, and for some reason, I have been having trouble. I guess it is pretty close to the sign for “food” so I got it messed up a lot. But she was happy, because I finally started doing it. Of course, now I don’t sign Daddy, but that’s ok, I know how to do it, and since that sign is mastered, I can move to other ones.
Last night, we went out to eat. It was nice to get out of the house and do something fun. Mom and Dad had hamburgers, and I had fries. I really like those. I did not even have to dip them in ketchup. Afterwards, we went to a friends house. He has a cat and I wanted to play with it. Unfortunately, it did not want to play with me and kept running from me. Kind of reminds me of my dogs in that regard. That’s ok, I got to run around and try to catch it, which was really fun.
The big news of course is that College Football is starting up again soon. Mom and Dad are really looking forward to this weekend when one of their favorite teams play.
