Babysitters and new words

This weekend, mom and dad went to a football game. Since I could not go, I was taken to a babysitters. Good friends of mom and dad were my babysitters for the day. Before they left, they were very careful to make sure that they went over my signing with them, so they would know what I needed or wanted.

I had a lot of fun. They get toddler tv on demand, so there were a lot of educational shows that were geared for me. I really enjoyed them. They took me out to eat and I had some chicken strips and even signed french fries, so they were sure to give them to me. Since they were able to understand what I needed, it sure made for an easy afternoon.

After mom and dad got back, we went out to eat and I had some pancakes and blueberries. It was a good meal.

On Sunday, I spent the day playing around and mom worked with me on learning a new sign, Aunt. She wanted me to learn this since my Aunt Sarah was coming by to visit and she wanted me to be able to surprise her. It took a few tries, but I think I got the hang of it. I know I don’t do it as well as mom does, but it sure impressed Aunt Sarah when she stopped in.

Once again, it was a fun weekend. Next weekend is Homecoming at the College dad graduated from, so I think we will be heading out that way for some fun and food. It should be a good time.
