Yes, I know, it’s been way to long. I’m not sure where to even begin with everything that has gone on since my last post. Dad has finally gotten around to updating my picture site. You can find new photos there now, and even more are being uploaded as I type this. I guess I better run down everything that has really happened since my last real post.
Halloween: I went as a lion this year. I was very cute and had a great time. At every house, I signed “Candy please.” and would also sign “Thank you” when I was given candy. Not only did I travel the neighborhood, I even went up to the College for their “Safe Trick-or-Treat” event. That was a lot of fun. I got to see a bunch of people that used to babysit me and got a lot of candy and played some fun games. I can’t wait to do it next year as well!
Raking Leaves: Yep, Dad and one of his friends spent the saturday raking up leaves. I got to play in the leaves and had a lot of fun. Check out the photos page and see some fun photos of me burried in the leaves. It was a lot of fun. I was kind of nervous at first, because I was not sure what to do, but once I started playing in them, mom and dad had a hard time getting me out of there. Good thing they did, as dad took the leaves out to the dump and I would not wanted to get taken out there!
First Snow of Winter 2007: It finally snowed, the weekend before Thanksgiving. Mom took me out on my sled. It was a lot of fun for me. I think mom got tired pulling me around all morning though.
Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving was a weekend of running around and seeing family. On Thursday we went to Grandpa Tom’s side for a big meal. Uncle Thad cooked and it was good. I discovered cranberry sauce, which is amazing. My face, hands, and shirt were all red, but it was worth it. On Saturday, we visited Grandpa Leonard and Grandma Teri. I also got to see all of the aunts, uncles, and cousins on dad’s side. Uncle Scott could not make it since he was called into work. It was really neat, because not only only did we have muffins and rolls and stuff, we had cake! They decided to throw an early birthday party for me. My birthday is not for a few days yet, but since I won’t be back for my birthday, they went ahead and had a party for me. The only person I did not get to visit was Grandma Shelley, because she was out of state. I will get to see her at Christmas though. To top the weekend off, I got to visit some family visiting from Kansas and I even took a pony ride. Photos from Dad’s family and the pony ride can be found on the photo page.
My first haircut: Yep, you heard right. After two years, mom and dad decided it was time for me to get a haircut. I look a lot different! It went really well though, and I behaved like a big boy. We figured that since I’m getting my two year photos taken soon, I should look a little more mature and we took off the curls. I’m not sure what I think, but I’m pretty sure I won’t be mistaken for a little girl anymore! You can view photos in the Gallery.
Believe it or not, you can even purchase a mousepad in celebration of my first haircut! Over time, I plan to add several products, and will change images available on the mousepad every few months, so get it while you can! You can find my mousepad HERE.
