This weekend has been a pretty exciting one. I have begun to do all sorts of new things. The biggest, and scariest, events is the use of the bed. Mom and dad decided, since I have learned to escape the confines of my crib, that I should begin learning to sleep on the bed. It was not something that I liked. I mean, I don’t mind being put on a bed when I fall asleep against mom or dad, but having to crawl up on the bed and go to sleep, that just is not fun. Not fun at all. I fought it for awhile, but eventually, me, monkey, and owl fell asleep.
After waking up, I ventured off the bed to track down the parents. Dad was rebuilding his Windows box (I caused some problems with it…). Mom was curled up relaxing and playing with the puppies. Once Ginger saw me, she decided she wanted to play. I got down on all fours and started chasing her. We took turns pouncing on each other. It was a lot of fun!
I can’t wait until tomorrow. Dad has the day off as it is a holiday, so we are going to head into town and do some shopping and go out to eat.
