Christmas and a New Year

Posted January 6th, 2008 by Tyler

The Holidays have come and gone, and with it, a lot of time visiting a family. Mom and I spent over a week with Grandma Shelley, and it was a blast. During that time, I got to see all sorts of family. I spent the Christmas Eve Eve at Aunt Sarah’s, having dinner with Grandma Shelley and Great Grandma Bernice. Christmas Eve, we were at Great Grandma Catherine’s where we got to see Grandpa Tom and a bunch of other family members. On Christmas Day, mom, dad, and I went to see Grandma Teri and Grandpa Leonard. It was Grandpa’s birthday, so it was a double celebration. Aunt Patti, Aunt Katie, Uncle Scott, and Aunt Katies three kids, my cousins, were also there. It was a lot of fun.

After Christmas celebrations were over, Dad had to go back home as he had to work. Mom and I got to stay with Grandma Shelley for a few more days. I missed Dad, but mom and I had a lot of fun.

Once we finally got home, Dad sat me down and let me know that we were going to be having a New Year party. I’m not sure what all that meant, but he said I could stay up as late as I wanted, and could even have some chocolate milk to celebrate! I don’t know what’s special about New Year, but I got chocolate milk, so I was happy. I stayed up pretty late. Mom said I was up until almost 11:00 PM. Suffice to say, I slept in until almost noon the next day.

I will try to get some photos linked from my trip to children’s museum as well as any taken over the holidays.

Here’s a quick one for now.

Hopefully, I will have more to post next week, as it is Mom’s birthday.
