Well, now that I am on the big bed, I have discovered something very important. I can crawl out of the bed whenever I want. This has lead to some very exciting evenings for me. I usually like to wait until mom and dad are asleep, so I wait to I can hear dad snoring, since he snores really loud. Once I hear that, I know I’m free to play around.
Thankfully, the moon shines into my room, so I have plenty of light. This is important, since I am not yet able to reach the light switch on the wall. I normally play with my blocks because they do not make much noise, but every once in awhile, I’ll play with something in my toybox. I have to be careful though, as I don’t want to wake mom and dad.
The biggest challenge has been to remember that I can’t go and wake them when I need help. Normally, during the day, if I’m playing with my blocks or trains, and I need help getting a few pieces unstuck, I can ask dad for help. During the middle of the night, no such luck. I did try it one night, but dad made me clean up my toys and put me back into bed. What made it even worse was he stood by the door until I feel asleep!
Thankfully, I can crawl back into bed when I start to get tired, so mom and dad have no clue what I am up to.
