It’s been a few weeks since I have used the crib, and this weekend, dad took it down. It was quite the shock to see my room without it, that’s for sure! Mom took me up there a few hours before bed time to check out the changed room. I had no clue anything had changed, since they did it all while I was taking my nap in the afternoon.
I got to my room expecting to be playing with blocks, but instead, my crib was gone, my work table was moved, and I now have what mom calls a “school desk” in their place. My table is still available, just moved a little bit over. I was excited about the new desk. It has a place to keep my work in, and best of all, the chair turns, so I can get in and out really easily. I’ll have to have mom or dad take some photos so I can share them all.
Mom said that as soon as dad buys some tape, she’ll tape down some paper on the desk for me, so I can draw all I want in my room. She did warn me that she will secure the crayon to the desk so I can’t draw on the walls. I’m not sure why she’s concerned about that, she did a fine job scrubbing off my last wall project, but I guess she does not want to risk another wall master piece.
