Spring Game 2009

Posted April 19th, 2009 by Tyler

This past Saturday, I decided I needed to get out of the house. What better way than to have Mom and Dad take me to Lincoln for the annual Nebraska Red/White Spring Game! The spring game is an event I have been attending since 2006, which is the first one I was around for :D

If you have never been to one of these events, it’s amazing. There were over 77,000 people in attendance, and that’s just to watch a practice! The best part though, is not the game itself. I mean, sure, that’s fun to watch, but it’s not the best part. The best part is during half time, when the kids and their parents get to go down to the field and have fun. Stepping onto the field is always kind of a weird experience for me, for just a few years ago, on that field is where I first took my first walk of more than 5 steps! Oh yeah, and the UNL dairy was there with Ice Cream! Now that is my idea of a good day.

Below are some photos. Leave a comment to let me know what you think.
