This past Friday was the big wedding that I have been preparing for. It was down in Kansas City, so we had a long drive, which for a three year old, is not always easy!
The wedding itself was a very lovely service. The Bride was a flower girl in Mom and Dad’s wedding, and the Maid of Honor was the other flower girl. I got to walk up with the Maid of Honor. I’m not really sure why I had to walk her up, I was pretty sure she could fine the way on her own, but I guess she was just nervous with her sister getting married.
I did not get to spend to much time with the Groom, but he seems to be a very nice young man, and very smart. He knew I liked pizza and cupcakes, so he made sure to have a Pizza party for the rehersal dinner, and their cake was made entirely of cupcakes! Anyone who listens to my ideas like he did has to be a good person.
Don’t think my weekend was taken up by just the wedding though. I went swimming, played a lot with some other kids my age, and even met my cousin Owen for the first time.
