That’s right. Another school year has begun and I’m as excited as ever. I’m still in pre-school, but I get to go three days a week! It’s so exciting to be back in the classroom and getting to see all of my friends that I missed over the summer.
This year, we are learning to spell our names as well as recognize specific words. I’m already trying to write my name at home. I’m not doing to bad, but I keep holding my pencil wrong, which makes it hard to write.
School is not the only new thing going on. Dad has decided that I’m old enough to play with real Legos. We picked up a big tote of them over the weekend and have been putting different things together each night. Today, we even made a really cool plane. You can see it in the slideshow below.
It’s time for me to be going to bed, but I hope you are all having a great time getting back into the swing of the new school year.

What an adorable 1st day of school pic!! You are just way too cute!!! I love legos!! They are so much fun to play with but be careful when playing with them around your dad. He’s not too good at sharing them ~ or at least he wasn’t when we were growing up. He never would let me take his stuff apart so I could build houses.
