T-Ball is a new experience for me. First, it’s a team sport, so I’m trying to learn that I can’t run after every ball. It also requires a lot more hand-eye cordination than I think I have. I’m still not used to handlilng the ball glove, but I am working on it every day to hopefully get better. Throwing a ball is also a pretty new experience for me. I’ve never worried about really where I threw something in the past, but now, I have to make it a point to aim it towards a specific person, which can get confusing when there are a bunch of other kids all fighting over the ball.

Mom and Dad were also pretty excited, as they took me down and got me a set of bases to put out in the yard, so I could practice at home. I already had a tee that I have been using for the past year, but now, I get to hit and run the bases!

I’ve played second base, outfielder, and first base so far. I will update photos in the slide show when I get the chance to play pitcher and catcher. The slideshow below are photos from my first game. I was pretty excited, as I was able to get a person out in my first game.

I’ll be taking more photos, and later in the season, Dad said he’d even be taking some video footage. Well, I’d type more, but it’s time to head outdoors and practice some more!

As you all know, a couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to go to the Nebraska Spring game. It was a lot of fun, and very exciting. I am disappointed that Dad did not get any video footage to stream live, but he did get some on his video camera. I’m hoping he can get that put up soon.

The game itself was very enjoyable, and this was my first ever time at having to walk to the stadium from the parking garage. I know it may not sound like much, but to a kid my age, it was a very long walk. The weather was perfect though, so it was fun walking over streets using the overpasses that were available. It was also fun to see so many people dressed in red and wearing corn cob hats!

The Red and White teams were pretty even this year, and all players showed a lot of promise. I was pretty fascinated by everything. I don’t know if I’ll play football when I get older or not, but the games are sure fun to watch!

Here is a slideshow from the day. I hope you like the photos!

It was bear time at the library. I’m glad I was able to go.

I hear chicks dig scars.

So today my friend Keith came over to play. Two boys and moving objects equal my first real injury. It was a head wound and boy did it bleed! I think I scared mom and dad though. Check out the photo for a sneak peak!
