Mom and Dad discovered that I like rides. The only downside is, due to my height, I am limited on which ones I can go on. Thankfully, there was a kid version of the drop zone to go on, as I was to short to go on the normal version.

Check out the photos of the day!

That’s right. Another school year has begun and I’m as excited as ever. I’m still in pre-school, but I get to go three days a week! It’s so exciting to be back in the classroom and getting to see all of my friends that I missed over the summer.

This year, we are learning to spell our names as well as recognize specific words. I’m already trying to write my name at home. I’m not doing to bad, but I keep holding my pencil wrong, which makes it hard to write.

School is not the only new thing going on. Dad has decided that I’m old enough to play with real Legos. We picked up a big tote of them over the weekend and have been putting different things together each night. Today, we even made a really cool plane. You can see it in the slideshow below.

It’s time for me to be going to bed, but I hope you are all having a great time getting back into the swing of the new school year.

Take me to the County Fair

That’s right, it was county fair time this past week. I had a blast. From tractors pulls, to bounce houses, to laser tag, to bull riding, I did it all, and I rode a sheep!

I’m not sure where to begin, but I’m still talking about the fair. It was a blast. Funnel cakes and Fried Oreos may not be a healthy meal, but they are a great once a year treat that everyone should at least try.

As you can see from the photo, I tried my hand at mutton busting. I did not do that good of a job, and dad had to pull this photo from the video we got, as mom was not quick enough with the camera. It was pretty fun to do though. I think I’ll give it another try next year! I was second out of the gate, and afterwards, I went up to the stands to cheer on the other 48 kids participating.

After the rodeo, mom and dad took me on a train ride as well as a tour through the animal buildings. I was able to pet a rooster! They were funny looking. I liked the rabbits best though. I would love to have one, but Dad says the dogs might be a problem.

Time to Play

Dad and I had the opportunity to check out a Lincoln Saltdogs game a few weeks ago. It was a lot of fun. I was selected to be a Watchdog. A Watchdog is a kid, such as myself, who gets to run out on the field with a player. I ran out with #24, the 3rd baseman. During the game, I got to go out on fied and perform the YMCA with a group of friends. It was a lot of fun.

Sadly, the Saltdogs did not win, but they played really hard, they looked like they had as much fun as I did. After the game, I was even allowed to go out onto the field and run the bases!

Hopefully I can convince Dad to make this a more regular event next year.

The season has ended

The season may have ended, but the great photos never do. Here is my individual photo. I do look good holding that bat, don’t I. I’m hoping to get a copy of the team photo in the next few days to share as well.

In other exciting news, I’m getting to go to my first game next week! Third row by third base! I’m hoping for a chance to catch a foul ball.
